If I worked in PE, and worked on a deal that got killed but another buyside firm won the transaction, can I still talk about that deal in an interview and mention the name? The fund that bought the company did a press release, so if it already closed, can I mention my fund was also in the process? I would not mention how much we were willing to pay etc.
