PE first round interview in 1 week. What's the best use of my time?
Hello,
Context: Current first-year IB associate. Have first round phone call with PE partner next week. Have never interviewed with PE funds before. Would say biggest weaknesses rn are technicals + modeling from scratch.
My question: Between now and next week, what's the best use of my (limited) time? Is it studying technicals? Beginning modeling practice? Researching the fund's deals? Brushing up on my deals?
Any advise appreciated. Thanks!
