PE prep guide from WSO

Has anyone purchased the PE prep guide from WSO and can speak to their experience with it?

I'm in a bit of a unique situation. Non-IBD -> Internally Networked -> PE Interview - Given I don't have prior IBD experience I'm not sure how prepped I need to be. I'm looking for a guide that allows me to familiarize myself with LBO / Modeling (I do that in my current role but obviously tangentially to what PE would require). - The other Associates on the team don't all have the typical IBD 2+2 pedigree so I take it the bar is set a bit lower - Having said that I don't want to leave anything on the table. I'll be prepping as though I'm recruiting for any other PE role but don't want to get lost early on if the PE guides on WSO assume some IBD background. - Have done about 5-10 paper LBO's and am starting to get comfortable working through the logic. - I would be coming in at the analyst level so perhaps the technical knowledge necessary won't be the same as what would be expected of an individual with 2 years IBD experience coming in at an Associate level.

Thanks for any insight.

I think it can only help you get more reps but I'm obviously biased. We do honor our 12 month 100% money back guarantee...so if you dont think it was a great resource for you, just shoot us an email and you get refunded within 24hrs.

We also just invested heavily in developing our own LMS and making it a true online course, which now includes deal cheat sheets + audio files of PE pros talking through previous deals they worked on in IB. not as relevant in your case but still a good way to start talking and thinking like an investor.

Either way, best of luck and keep us updated! Patrick
