PE Recruiting for On-Cycle Starting Now

Hi all,

For context I'm a senior who interned at a BB this past summer and will be returning full-time after graduation. I go to a target/semi-target (depending on the bank) and have recently been being emailed by PE headhunters for coffee chats and have had a few info sessions at my school. I've been on and off sick and stressed with work so I've missed a fair amount of these opportunities. It's also f*cking crazy it's starting this early. I guess my question is: is it neccesary to do all of this stuff now or can I wait until the spring when I have a much clearer head and schedule or will I be too far behind? Also any commentary on On-Cycle in general. Would appreciate any insight into this absurd and highly unethical process.
