PE Secondaries Recruiting/HHs
There have been some great forums on PE secondaries lately. For those in classic IB or secondary advisory looking to move to PE secondaries, what's the recruitment process like (whether on cycle or off cycle) and who are the headhunters for the largest secondaries firms?

SG covers neuberger. Oxbridge I’m pretty sure covers AlpInvest, but heard that may have changed

Is it difficult to get into BX SP? What's the general comp like?
FWIW, SP very, very rarely hires laterals onto the investment team given BX's analyst program, which is a natural feeder into the associate position. Comp is strong.

Outside of a shop with 25+ people that might use a head hunter, I would recommend just reaching out to a senior associate or VP level person expressing your interest to learn more.
