PER - Private Equity Recruitment

Hi all,

this goes to all people who are currently in PE or who went through PE recruiting: does anybody have any experience with the above recruiting firm? From what I can take from their website, they mostly recruit for firms in London and on the continent. Any experiences would be greatly appreciated.

My background: I am a 1st year analyst in a Top 5 BB industry group in London and haven't had much modelling experience so far. While I am generally interested in PE, I don't really want to move at this point since I don't think I have acquired enough technical skills yet.

I receive very positive feedback on my work and would say I have a very good work ethic, also I get along well with all the people I have worked with so far.

How should I spin this when talking to them - I am thinking of simply letting them know of my general interest but that I am not interested in moving right now..

Thanks for your advice!

they're legit in europe i believe, but also reach out to selby jennings, michael page, robert half and the other HHs that are big in europe. You should tell them you are interested now. You have to understand that most people that want to get into private equity DO NOT get in, so don't waste any opportunity. Tell your VP/Associate to let you work on models. If you don't have that chance then learn to build a full 3 statement lbo with returns and sources & uses from scratch in a timely manner, shouldnt be difficult to master it in a week if you work on it thoroughly.

Can we stop reviving these ancient posts and lock them if they're older than 10 years?
