I was wondering if anybody could provide me with some insights or opinions on the Permira office in London. How is the culture and work life balance in the teams? Particularly interested in Consumer. Feel free to share any other interesting or relevant information!

Permira is a very good and high performing firm at all levels. I worked with them a couple of times in banking and from the outside-in the culture struck me as a bit stuck up and slightly nerdy, but happy to be corrected if someone has a clearer view.
Maybe consumer is different but I would stay away from Tech as much as I can. The WLB there is just abysmal
More color would be helpful. Gonna be pretty grindy at any solid UMM / MF, how does it compare to others
Very prestigious shop with smart people, flat culture (only 3 levels), and international deal flow
