Pivoting into PE after 19 years of consulting and industry experience

Does anyone know how an online masters in finance would help break into a PE world with my profile. Wharton has this advanced finance programs and Columbia has PE/VC focused program as well. But, I'm not sure if they would help someone with my profile to move into a PE role?

My experience in consulting has been on the non-finance side of things.

Yes. Operational value add is part of most PE funds playbook now. These jobs will be advertised and it does require the right type of individual to work alongside an executive but not try to do the executive job.

The certifications show your interest in PE / alternative investments. If you have networks that you can tap into then they can provide specific guidance for the fund but I would be surprised if either were helpful.

What is your split of experience between consulting vs industry experience?

Thank you.

Columbia has this VC/PE certification about $28 k online spread over 9 months online. Not sure if that adds value?
