Post MBA comp

How much would a post MBA Hire make at PE firm? It really doesn't matter if it's called senior associate or VP basically the job you get post MBA.

I am specifically referring to firms whose last funds are 4-5bn+ I.e they may manage 8-10bn+ In total AUM. These would encompass what people on this site like to call upper mm though are basically large cap like a CD&R all the way to an Advent or KKR.

I would expect something like 200 base + 250 bonus + 10bps carry (0.1% out of 100% of the carry pool) Ignoring outliers like Apollo pre MBA is 275-300 so this seems reasonable?

Is this reasonable? Please do not direct me to poets and quants the search function or the compensation report. All 3 are either outdated, too broad or useless.

Seems high

Ignoring carry why is 450k high if pre MBA first year makes 275-300?

I can't tell you the logic I can only tell you what I've seen

I've never really trusted databases like this... it's too tough to control for variables like location that skew the data. In the heidrick spreadsheet, for example, it shows MBA grads earnings less than non-MBA grads, which frankly doesn't make sense (most conservative estimate should be even).
