Private Equity "Playbooks", "Best Practices", etc
Hi folks. It seems like a lot of private equity firms have internal value-creation playbooks, best practices, whatever you want to call them. I would really like to get my hands on one, even an old or anonymized one, not so much to steal ideas but rather get a sense of how detailed and practical they are. I'm familiar with all the main value creation drivers/initiatives, but I'm having a hard time imagining the level of detail that might be included in one of these playbooks / how transferable or practicable they really are. Anyone have anything they can share or know of any available examples?

This is an interesting article from Insead which is quite comprehensive

Buy at low multiple, use big multiple of debt, pay down debt and buy more similar companies at low multiples with much debt and then sell to another bigger private equity firm. Rinse and repeat and then raise a few billion dollars and then make a multiple millions every year
