What do y'all think is a reasonable $ amount to ask my MP for being an SA?
Some background: I currently intern at a LMM PE firm. In a previous convo with my MP, he said he looks to pay FT analysts around 75-85k annually. I did the math and it seems if I want to shoot for the higher end I would ask for $21,250 for the summer (3 months). Reasonably though, I would be super happy with $20k. I've already worked at this firm for a bit and have received a lot of high praise from my MP about the work I've done so far. Also, there will be no other SAs, just me.
I'd appreciate any advice from anyone who's gone through a similar situation. Thanks!

For an SA? Hate to burst your bubble, but I'd peg it at $15K.
Thanks for the advice. I originally thought that 15k would be appropriate but some friends of mine are showing what they're getting for the summer and I thought 20k might be feasible. Do you have any advice on how to bring it up with my MP?
