Public debt for PrivateCo as a proxy for the equity itself - Example.

Hi all, fairly new to this concept.

From the U.K. and was wandering where I could find an example of a PE PortCo that has utilised publicly traded debt so I can see how the debt is trading (put the title into practise).

Something that crossed my mind is that PE firms wouldn’t use public debt and they’d typically have their own private debt or credit relations that they’d have discounts or loyalty loans with.

If anyone can point me in the direction of any examples of PE PortCos or even examples of U.K. privateCos that have public debt trading, and where I’d find information on this public debt, that would be much appreciated. TIA
