Re recruiting for asc program
I am finishing 2Y at my UMM fund and have to leave this summer. No luck finding a SAsc position yet. Is it weird if I recruit for a regular Asc position (I guess I’d effectively start over?)

Not weird per se but definitely a setback that you need to think through. May be able to get an experienced associate gig (i.e., one year of credit or 6-12 month runway to SA vs. completely starting over), especially if you go downmarket?
