Say a headhunter said "Firm X is starting a process in two weeks, are you interested?" and I say yes, is it kosher for me to hit up an alum of my school and say "Hey, a headhunter contacted me about recruiting at your firm, would you be willing to talk about your experience there and offer any advice for the recruiting process?"
