Anyone have any tips on how to go about in recruiting for pre-MBA real estate private equity roles for 2024 start date? I’m currently a 1st year analyst and it doesn’t look like REPE groups had the same on-cycle recruiting season like traditional PE groups did.

PERE, excluding a couple MFs, don't generally follow on-cycle recruiting like traditional PE firms. They hire on an as-needed basis, and generally don't take in entire analyst classes like a Blackstone would. Generally run leaner as well, so fewer open positions to fill = fewer opportunities.
I see.. do you know if the Blackstone/KKR/TPG type REPE funds have filled their entire class? I didn’t see these MFs participate in on-cycle either but maybe I missed it.
They've filled the 2023 class in the fall already -2024 apps are open.

Lol appreciate the help but that link is for summer analyst roles for undergrads. Im talking about pre-mba associate roles for 1st year analysts already on the desk.
For MFs there is not really a general application - you network/get referred in if it's not straight out of undergrad. I've never heard of "pre-mba associate" roles - closest think I could think that you're referring to is an internship for someone while getting their MBA.
Real estate does not really care about MBAs
