Resume Help - Old Banking Deals to Include

Apologies if this is a dumb question, as it's admittedly been years since updating my resume.

When detailing my old banking experience, is it fair to list deals that I contributed significant work to (CIM, modeling, data packs, etc.), but singing/closing occurred months after I left?

Just curious if it raises eyebrows when the "closing" date listed is notably after I left the bank. Thanks for the help.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, it is generally acceptable to list deals you contributed significant work to, even if the signing/closing occurred after you left the bank. The key is to focus on your specific contributions to the deal, such as creating the CIM, financial modeling, or preparing data packs. You can avoid potential confusion by not explicitly listing the closing date if it occurred after your departure. Instead, emphasize your role and the value you added during the process.

For example, you could phrase it like this: - "Supported the sale of [Company A] to [Buyer B] by preparing the CIM, conducting financial modeling, and managing due diligence materials."

This approach highlights your involvement without drawing attention to the timing of the deal's closure.
