Role of Buyout Firms

Dear reader,

I am a master student in corporate finance at the University of Ghent. In order to obtain my master's degree I am now in the middle of my master's thesis. This thesis is, as the title reveals, about buyout. More specific, the role of buyout firms in the board of directors of their portfolio companies. The determinants of these role are the second focus of my thesis.

At this point, I am looking for respondents for my survey. I found out, unfortunately, that as a student it is not very easy to get in touch with investment managers and other relevant functions within private equity firms.

My question to this community is whether you are, or you know someone, who fits the profile I am looking at: working in a buyout company or have experience in the private equity sector.

My survey only has an average response time of 2.2 minutes, and it is analyzed anonymously and discrete. Since I am not allowed to post my linke here, please contact me through this channel, mail (stanjeanty@gmail dot com) or linkedin, with the same name : stan jeanty.

I hope I can count on this community in order to get my response rate up. Please feel free to share this link with your colleagues, friends, network, ... In doin so, you help me in obtaining my master's degree and to fill the gap on buyouts and the role of these firms.

Thank you in advance. Kind regards, Stan
