SAT Scores at Top Funds
Have heard in the past that some HHs & funds will ask for SAT scores. Was just wondering if all top firms do this (specifically BX, WP, KKR, Tiger, Coatue).
I'm in a top group and from a target but don't have a rockstar SAT score, want to understand how this will affect my chances during the upcoming on cycle.
Yes, all of the top firms ask for your SAT scores. If your SAT scores aren't great, take the GMAT (and get a good score) and use that in lieu of your SAT scores.
Thanks for the feedback. Curious what threshold would justify retaking it / taking the GMAT - for those firms would 1450/1600 be an auto-reject?
It’s not that important of a datapoint if everything else is fine. Don’t bother taking anything if you are from a good school with a good GPA
Not an American but doesn’t this put you in the top 2% of test takers?...
It does, but if you're looking to join Tiger / Coatue I imagine most candidates have a near-perfect score, which is why I was curious.
