Signal Hill Equity Partners - Comments? Currently interviewing for Associate role
Anyone worked at Signal Hill Equity Partners before? Currently interviewing for PE Associate role. Appreciate any inputs around this fund/opps. It's a Toronto based PE shop.
Heard around Bay street this place is going under. So unsure if it's worthwhile to quit my IB gig for this one. Anyone has any insights?
John-Chen12345, bummer your thread hasn't had a response yet. Sometimes bots are smarter than humans anyways:
If we're lucky, maybe these professional users will respond: tim.johnson.mobile @yinghuang.ji" swiss_monkey
If those topics were completely useless, don't blame me, blame my programmers...
Anyone with real insights to share?
Bump
... You posted in June and still going through the process with them?
Not sure how they’re doing, but it looks like they’ve had some attrition at the senior/mid-sr level in recent years. They had a partner leave for another small-med PE shop. I think there was a VP/principal level before and don’t see them on the bio page anymore.
If you’re still interviewing with them, you should get a sense of the performance and whether they can raise a new fund. Grab some coffees with friends in Canadians PE (or funds teams).
I guess you could say it's a sign or signal that the process is still ongoing
They used to have 2 VPs, both quit over the span of a year. Heard some disturbing news about the fund... don't get associated with this place, when it goes under, it'll not end well and you don't want a black stain on your CV.
