SLP Analyst Program Update

Anyone has any idea if SLP's analyst program will come back? They just raised a $20B fund and have hired new ASOs so assuming their hiring freeze is over and they are at lease temporarily over their woes.

Pretty sure getting rid of the program was a long-term shift, not because of a hiring freeze. Highly doubt they will bring it back in the immediate future, at least at the fairly large scale it used to be.

Training new college grads is REALLY hard and expensive. A ~200 person PE fund don't have the infrastructure, constant IB deal flow and global resources that a BB/EB does, and I'm guessing IB ASOs were coming in with better reps than SL could give their analysts.

Can you verify they hired new assoc? For 24 or 25 start? They had been holding off on holding interviews but not sure if that changed. Oncycle or offcycle?
