Stop leaving PE associates off of email chains
To all the IB analysts sending NDAs, CIMs, models, etc to PE firms - please stop leaving PE associates off of the email chains. It does nothing but make you have to follow up again and wonder why the partner you emailed didn't confirm receipt. You don't have to wonder anymore, its because he thinks his associate was copied and assumes he is reviewing. This is usually followed by said associate receiving a scolding email from his VP a few days later asking where the materials are that he was never copied on.
The above happens probably once a week and makes no sense.
