Structured/Hybrid Investments

Hey Guys! My shop a MM shop is venturing into a new strategy focusing on new investment structures such as prefs, mezzanine debt etc. Traditionally we have done straight vanilla equity. I am an MBA summer intern charged with putting together a deck on different investment structures focusing on their pros and cons, typical structuring elements, risks etc. Can anyone guide me to any online resources which serve as an intro primer to different structured/hybrid investment structures?
