Switching to careers from Tech to Finance mid-career
Has anyone switched careers from Tech to Finance later in their careers? I'm 36, with 14 years of experience of software development, mostly B2B SaaS application (non-FinTech). What, realistically, could be my entry points into Finance?
Can you clarify your goal? Are you asking about going from your current role to an ops team role at a PE fund (doable) or are you trying to be a principal investor (much less/not doable)?
