Technology Crossover Ventures: pre-MBA associate role at TCV?

Any information on the pre-MBA associate role at TCV in Palo Alto? I know it's primarily a sourcing model, but I'm more concerned about lifestyle (typical hours), predictability of schedule, weekend work, overall culture, and compensation. Thanks all.

I'd say total comp is ballpark $150k (depends on a few variables). Hours are about 80+/week. You will work on weekends. Pretty much what you would expect.

The culture is good. Fun guys. Why not look into Insight Venture Partners as well?

80+ hours per week, with weekend work, for $150k? That's less than I'd make as a third year, and I'd probably work less as a third year as well. Is this accurate?

From what I've heard, it's primarily a sourcing model. Is it really that close to Summit/TA where you source 8-8 then work until midnight?
