I would personally say Advent > Genstar >>> THL (pretty familiar with all 3).

Advent is an absolute monster, one of the biggest funds out there and doing huge deals. If you’re location agnostic, seems hard to choose anyone else over them

Genstar is a great UMM name, if you want SF I could see taking this over advent

THL seems like the odd man out here - they’re basically just a MM fund at this point. They have a solid HBS pipeline given the old school Boston name, but still wouldn’t take them over the other two for that. They also are just a different type of firm, Advent and Genstar are both aggressive and pay up for top assets, THL is more of a hang out near the hoop firm and see what they can pick up for cheap. They bid on basically every process I’ve seen them in but always miss a ton on value, meaning as an associate you’re getting worked to the bone on diligence sprints without much to show for it.

Not even close - take advent

Genstar is fantastic but a lot of their fundraising momentum has been due to the huge run up in tech and they are primarily software or at least tech enabled industrials or fig. Therefore think they may not continue to have the same pace of fundraising. Also they focus on mm while advent is large cap so more optionality later on. would pick over th lee which is sweaty

also not sure why you are asking this - it is incredibly hard to get an offer at any of these (esp advent and Genstar) let alone all 3
