Thoughts on Cap10?
Have you ever come across them? Founded a few years ago by former Apollo Partner, they just hired an MD from Blackstone. Curious to know about deal activity / culture / comp if you know.

One of their deal went south, the associated founding partner left and if you look at the team now most VPs, Associates etc are also gone.
They’ve also hired some interim Associates on temporary contracts and none of them were converted.

They reached out to me looking for a VP in early 2023 and then again more recently. Didn’t engage on either but did open their presentation and can confirm out of the then 2 partners, 3 VPs and 3 Associates only 1 partner, 1 VP and 1 Associate remains. Probably lots of good reasons both professional and personal but just to be aware
New fund and hence too early to tell. There are a million funds that look like them in London, no clear differentiation / JAMMBOs.
