Thoughts on Novo Holdings

Hi fellow monkeys,

First post here after watching from the sidelines for a couple years. Just wanted to know what do people in the industry think of Novo Holdings and its relative prestige to other PE firms, as I understand they do everything from seeds to buyouts.

Would be nice if you could toss in additional information about comp (analyst/associate level), deal flow, etc.

Thanks!

Have worked with them and interacted with them. Extremely nice group of people. Genuinely a pleasure to work with. Also because their HQ is in Denmark they have constant outings to Europe for team events.

The senior investors I’ve worked with were great and knew their stuff. The associates were lower quality than the usual PE associates I’ve worked with though.

Anyone have insight on their model test? Interested in an associate role there. Looks like they take a decent number of consultants?

Bump.

OP here, did an internship stint with them so could finally answer these :)

Culture is crazy good (mentorship program, senior folks from HQ/Asia are really friendly, offsites overseas - at least for my team, opportunities to go on exchange to offices overseas, esp Copenhagen HQ, etc.). Comp not entirely sure, but should be on par at least with street (associates/senior associates from my team were ex-BB/EB so good indication). Well-recognized in the life sciences/pharma/hospital chains space

Anyone know who their HH is? Also is the principal investments team only in Boston?
