I’ll bite. Apollo, Centerbridge, Cerberus, Ares, Oaktree SS immediately come to mind. However in the loan to own space it’s a much broader field overlapping with distressed/activist HFs. Some firms that dabble in this space are Silver point, Anchorage, Third Point, Blue Mountain, Angelo Gordon, Aurelius and Elliott. Not an exhaustive list by any means but hopefully a starting point.
