After a similar post was made for Chicago, was wondering if anyone had any updated views on the status of well-performing UMM / MM funds that actually hold a strong culture and good (read good for industry) WLB? First and second-hand experiences much appreciated!Thanks!

I’ve heard Crestview has great WLB, particularly at the VP level and up. I wonder if this holds true for associates.
Interesting data point — do you know if this is in actuality (close source) or maybe just a marketing / ploy set up by HR to attract talent?
This is coming from a friend of a friend who works there. Apparently weekends are very quiet when there are no live deals, even for associates. Also worth pointing out that as value investors, they are probably less active in today's hot market.
Insight Partners is nearly a MF at this point, but I know personally they have great culture and WLB. People I know there are generally very happy
Really? This is somewhat surprising to me as I’ve always thought that larger funds generally have worse WLB. For insight do you know if these data points are for traditional growth equity associate roles or more niche roles such as sales / IR, etc?
There's two different programs at insight. the VC/growth side where its fun and rosy and then the buyout side, where its MF lifestyle with all the stress and hours of classic PE.
(no fund has good WLB during live deals. all PE is stressful and the stress is worse than the hours)
What about GE funds? Have generally heard the hours are less (on average) but not sure about the actual stress of the work
