Currently an IB analyst (BB/UMM, Coverage) looking to learn a bit more about the PE recruiting process. After looking for some information on Headhunters, I have only come back with this discussion mentioning a couple top names in recent times.
I was wondering if any of our more experienced/buy-side members could answer a few questions for those of us looking to recruit out so that we can create a more comprehensive discussion:

What does the recruiting process look like with a Headhunter? (i.e., how intensive is the vetting process, and how open should one be with their HH?)
