Value Creation Lead Offer - Opinions?

I was offered a value creation lead role at TSG Consumer. Seems to be similar in structure to platinum equity's Vice President of Transformation. Impressed by the team so far.

I'm currently in a P&L owner spot (here one year) but deep inside a PortCo. Coming from MBB consulting before my current role.

1. Does anyone have any experience with TSG Consumer? Again, I liked everyone I met so far (Ops Team and the PortCO CEO - I can tell I'd learn more from them than in my current role).
2. Career progression wise, I already received one promotion where I am. Is it a good move if my long term goal is Operating Partner or C-Suite
3. Any idea what the market rate is for these roles? Looking at comp negotiations

Thanks!
