Vista Culture
Does anyone have any updates on the culture at Vista? There is a thread from a couple years ago saying that it was really bad, but I've heard that bad seniors have been pushed out. Can anyone provide a more current evaluation?

Career Resources
From what I've seen and heard, previous threads about the Vista culture overstate how bad it is. Working at any MF is going to be challenging, but Vista isn't nearly as bad as APO, H&F, or WP.
With that said, I've have spoken to both analysts and associates and the overall sentiment is that you will work hard and learn, but the senior people have a interest in seeing you succeed. The analysts I've spoken to seem to love it. Vista also has relatively low turnover and no b-school pushout. Most of the VP+ seems to have came in as Associates and climbed up the ranks with the occasional outside hire here and there.
