Vista PE Analyst Exits/Outcomes

Since Vista has had the analyst program for 25+ years, curious to hear how analysts have done over this period both at the firm and exiting to other firms... has Vista promoted its analysts? For analysts who've left, how have they done? How does this compare to other PE programs?

Considering Vista began in 2000, not sure where you’re getting “25+ years” from, I’d say 13-15 years at best.

Majority of analysts stay on for promotion, many of the earliest ones still at the firm.

In terms of analysts that leave, there are ex-Vista people at / formerly at Coatue, Dragoneer, Lone Pine, Altimeter, Light Street, etc. A plethora of PE exits as well, not useful to throw out names, but everything from Blackstone to LMM shops. Although given Vista’s trajectory and as one of the biggest PE funds in the world now, many people tend to stay and leave for only a handful of other investing roles, whether in PE, HF, VC
