Were you asked for your SAT/ACT score for PE recruiting?
Pretty much title. I’m trying to gauge how common it is for PE firms/head hunters to ask for my SAT/ACT scores from 6 years ago.

100% and GPA
Do you have to provide / take both (SAT & ACT) or does one or the other suffice
In American high schools you only take 1 of the 2, I don't know anyone who has ever taken both
yes , even after MBA from a top school LOL
I told them I didn't remember / it wasn't available and still got MF interviews and offers
Think test scores are losing importance overall (see: number of schools going test optional). If your scores are really low, enough that they'd cause problems in interviews, just say they're not available.
Don't you think saying not available is a big red flag? Also, why wouldn't it be available? At an "EB" but im a horrible test taker so Im a bit worried of them asking for my scores.
I got a 28 on my ACT.
Just say you don't remember it lol, BS story but they can't force you to give it out - but it's honestly getting rarer for firms to insist on having them. GPA is much more important. If you have any interest in B school, taking the GMAT senior year and using that score is an acceptable alternative (although might not help if you're bad at standardized tests)
28 isn't amazing but it's not so low that it will derail your interviews. Only give it out if specifically asked (don't volunteer it on an informational HH form, for example) but I wouldn't worry too much.
HH will ask if you don’t put it on forms initially, but firms never asked during various rounds.
