What are the most time consuming tasks in PE modeling?

Preparing for a new role and would love to know how I can optimize my preparation time to execute most efficiently. Curious what tasks are the most time-consuming but easily improved with practice. Emails? Certain aspects of models? Would love to hear your thoughts.

Thank you!

Biggest thing I think is just figuring out format / metrics your team (down the the individual VP / Principal quarterbacking the deal) like to see / are used to. Ultimately there is going to be a mind boggling amount of iteration due to running every single asinine case under the sun, but at least you can try to minimize up front. I’d suggest looking through recent IC decks that the team you’re working with has put together to use as a precedent
