White dude here. Work for a 15 person PE firm where ~75% of the staff are Asian (China, Korea, Indonesia) and they are talking about trying to get more LPs who are ESG driven because the team is full of minorities (even in mgmt/partner roles). When I think of minorities in PE I think of like Latino or African Americans...thoughts? The team is also 60% female, which is rare.
