Not until at least late fall but everyone thinks it won’t be until 2021. I know people who are letting their leases expire and airbnbing elsewhere.

For NYC and some other offices Ares is optional work from home through at least end of year though anecdotally haven’t really heard of people going in yet.
Know of plenty of firms (including my own) that aren't mandating anything until next year. No reason to go in at the moment, not hard to do this job remote.

Firm is opening offices to return at limited capacity, and is also allowing analysts to wfh permanently if they desire. This is a MM - they figure they can increase headcount while reducing rent expense. Analysts appear to be fine working remotely.
