Which hotels do your firms book for seniors/ executives on business trips?

I’ve been working in PE for a while, recently started traveling more frequently for work. I’m curious about the types of hotels that are typically booked for senior executives (think VPs or above, MDs & partners) on business trips to cities like London, San Francisco and Sydney.

I’ve heard that hotels like Crown Towers Sydney or the Park Hyatt are popular bc they're close by. Are there any other hotels that you or your firms prefer for their convenience, amenities, or professionalism?

Thanks!

Based on the most helpful WSO content, senior executives in finance, such as VPs, MDs, and partners, often stay at high-end hotels that align with the firm's travel policies and the city's offerings. For example:

  1. London: Executives typically stay at premium hotels like the Marriott, Hilton, or similar high-end chains. Apps and services make it easier to book these conveniently located accommodations, ensuring proximity to business hubs.

  2. San Francisco: While specific hotels aren't mentioned, the focus is on luxury and convenience, often near financial districts or key client locations.

  3. Sydney: Hotels like Crown Towers Sydney and Park Hyatt are indeed popular choices due to their proximity to business areas and top-tier amenities.

In general, firms prioritize hotels that offer comfort, professionalism, and convenience, often sticking to "approved" lists of high-quality accommodations.
