Which would offer more prospects for PE exits, MM IB or MBB?

Hey everyone, starting to think about post-IB opportunities and was considering options for pursuing PE/buy-side roles. I know that there are a lot of factors at play here beyond where you're working, but what generally would be your thoughts on trying to recruit for PE from a top MM firm (HL, Baird, WB, etc.) versus MBB? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

For MFPE , not all megafunds are consultant friendly but many are and will all take from MBB. MM to MFPE is harder from the sort of firms you mentioned but all PE firms are “banker friendly”. I would say for those firms who are not consultant friendly you may have a marginally better shot but for the consultant friendly ones you will have a much higher chance from MBB
