Why is Centerbridge so respected?
Never really understood why Centerbridge is so well respected. Do they have stellar returns, are they extremely exclusive, why are they so highly regarded?

Based on experience working with and seeing these guys in the market, they are very sharp and not uneasy to work with and the only firm that I can think of that started out in distressed credit and evolved into also having a large traditional PE franchise.
