2018 ICSC Thread
Wanted to get an ICSC thread going. Who is going out to Vegas? What do you do? I'm in capital markets. Currently at school but will be returning back to work in the fall.

I've wanted to go for years, I think I might finally do it this year. Just for the weekend though, not the actual conference.
I went last year, not a ton of people are there for the weekend. Most people will roll in later Sunday with some of the more eager brokers earlier.

I would have been going but I took a new job. I hope you have already booked your appointments otherwise it will be a total waste of a trip. Also, wear comfy shoes as you will be walking a lot.

Vegas baby Woooooooo! (that's a yes, I love free parties and booze) I'm really curious to see the turnout this year. It's always interesting, the better the market, the blonder the hair and the shorter the skirts. 2008? Sausagefest. I'm sure that's going to come off terribly sexist, but anyone who's been will affirm.
If you'll be indulging, make sure you check out REVIV (basement of the MGM grand). Pricey, but well worth it if you're feeling poorly.
Is it worth it go if I dont do retail and just want free parties?
