Nah that seems pretty reasonable/normal. In-unit laundry is nice. I know some people in triples who are paying 6.5-7k a month, which is a higher per-person rate.
Also why don’t you just look at what comparable 4 brs are renting for on streeteasy lol.
You are not. We landed a similar deal but w/ 2ba and slightly bigger rooms, but the fee was 10% annual. It's just abysmal timing with the rental prices peaking just to fall down right after having the underlying house prices nosedive.
I pay this much for a 4br in EV but we have an extra bathroom and no washer dryer. Ceiling heights are ~18ft which is very nice.
When did you sign?
August 2021.
Taking a wild guess here but are you in a walk-up building in Alphabet City? If so, fair pricing in today's market, maybe even a steal. But just look at StreetEasy for current asking rents (not last listed for, it's always incorrect).
No haha, in a walkup building in the East Village (on like 1st ave)
