Advice on ARGUS
How do you all keep track of the changes that you make for your properties? Especially when there’s multiple scenarios, it’s hard for me to keep track of which scenario has the most updated version. Any advice?

Add Model version and description of each change
Always create a separate excel file with all the details around what's in the model (MLA, rent/expense growth, capital, lease up, rent roll revisions -- options/vacates/etc.) for each iteration alongside the version of the AVUX file.
Do you automate this in any way or do you literally do this manually for every iteration of your Argus models?
At my fund we had a custom export someone built that included several tabs of MLAs and other assumptions that fed back into the model so you can easily audit what assumptions are driving any given cash flow export
This is probably the way to go but godspeed to the analyst who creates this. This is why we need chatgpt to be better lol
