Anyone heard of Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital?
I was wondering if anyone knows of this firm and if it’s a good firm to be at? I have an interview with them next week for a CRE Analyst role. From reading the job description, it seems like it would be a good fit for what I’m looking for.
I know plenty of people who have worked for them (past and current). PM me to discuss.
Edit - Disregard. I thought you had meant Bellwether Asset Management.
Which office and which department?
It’s in Ohio. Not sure what to expect or how good this firm is
Aren't they a public REIT, focused on debt?
No they’re brokers I believe
I haven't worked for them but I have some experience working with them in their capacity as a loan originator/servicer. They seem like a good group and I'm sure you'll get some solid deal experience if you end up joining.
I work with them all the time, great people. They are primarily debt placement brokers for the agencies, lifecos, etc. Probably in the top 10 nationally for volume. They are big in the Midwest, NC and SoCal and they just bought out shops in Phoenix and DC so they're in a growth mode right now. You'll learn just as much there as you would at JLL or Berkadia, and from what i've heard, Bellwether's culture isn't as cutthroat.
completely agree
