Aqusitions Excel Test ( Analyst Position)
Hello, Everyone I have an excel test with a REIT acquisitions company coming up and I wanted to know what should I focus on? I am given 30 mins to complete a live exam via zoom. I just need to know what do I focus on?

I'd say all your basic functions. Build a model from scratch. Watch videos on YouTube.Btw what is a live exam? Do you have to share screen the whole time? Sounds unbearably unnecessary.
I am not familiar with Crown Castle at all, but if it is 30 minutes over zoom, I assume it will be an extremely high-level model. It would be best to focus on unlevered and levered outputs, such as IRR, Emx, distributions, contributions, net profit. Also, they will probably ask you to create an amortization table for the debt. You probably do not need to know how to model out a waterfall, but that would be nice to know. Lastly, it would be good to learn how to use the goal seek function across the board. For instance, let's say you model it out and have an IRR they wish to achieve. You can use that function to determine the purchase price to accomplish that return. Other than that, it will probably consist of basic functions.
