Bank Loan Syndication

I know what the job entails, but does anyone have anymore details about where these jobs sit in the bank, and exit opportunities? Also what the general pay structure is.

The job opportunity is with a bank to sell of portions of the whole loans, in addition to subscription lines etc. any idea on how this would pay in the Assoc and VP level, and wlb?

Was offered a position in this field a while ago. $70k salary in low cost of living city.

No idea about pay for Assoc and VP level but the impression I got from the people working in syndications was that they have to be detail orientated since they were juggling multiple loans (different asset, different structure, etc.).

Seems like a good opportunity if you want to go into lending. The biggest sell for syndications is that you get to work on the larger deals (obviously since they need to be syndicated) and you get to see a variety of industries.

The drawback is that you don't really develop any technical skills (no industry-specific modeling skills) and really only interact with other banks (from my understanding).

Where is this job opportunity located?
