Beginning the interview process with Berkadia for an analyst role (non-GSE) on the East Coast. Wondering if anyone has been through the process and what it's like? Any technicals I should be ready for? And lastly, how does comp fare at the analyst/senior analyst level?

JV Equity group or Debt brokerage? JV Equity would be pretty technical I believe.

I don't work there, but have had similar positions in the past. My comment will probably not be insanely helpful, but I think for positions like this you need to prove in the interview you're sharp and a work horse. Know every detail about your experience and know every detail of highlighted deals you tell them about. Need to show them you're proficient in excel and know waterfall modeling. Prove to them you grind, will put in hours, and make it known you will make their lives easier. That's what MDs care about. Aside from that, I think browsing old threads in here for interview topics will cover anything they'll throw at you to test your knowledge.
