Best courses to take for Property Management?

I have 1 year experience in RE Investment Sales in a boutique brokerage firm in NYC, but would like to transition into Property Management. Having zero experience in Property Management would most probably land me no jobs....
Which certification/in person course/online course would facilitate and increase my chances of getting a job in PM? Is there anything else I should consider doing in order to make the transition a successful one? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.

Check out BOMA. They should have some literature to help you know what you’re talking about in an interview. An assistant property management job shouldn’t be hard to get with a year of IS experience.

If you’re currently in IS, its safe to assume you know basic financial concepts - think about a career in asset management unless you love the idea of interacting with tenants and engineering teams all day. AM has a higher earning potential.
