Does Eastdil count? More so IS I believe.
Believe Eastil does more asset level transactions?
Eastdil has 2 separate divisions. 1)IB and 2)Capital Markets/investment sales. IB is now under Wells Fargo and no longer has the Eastdil name.
Best groups I’ve heard are 1) BAML - Sweatshop from everyone I’ve talked too but I’ve heard is best on Street. The below are no particular order 2) MS 3) JPM 4) Citi.
Knew DB did have a strong division back a while but not sure if changed. Apparently CS has a strong and growing group

I understand what a true REIB group does, but does anyone have any recent examples of work/transactions they do? I never hear about them too much. I would assume the type of work would be like Marriott’s 2016 acquisition of Starwood Hotels?

Is REIB at BB the most highly paid RE job right out of college?
I think REIB and REPE might be pretty comparable depending on the shop. there is also life cos which in LA/NY will pay $75-$80K + $35K starting which isn't THAT far off the IB pay considering hours at life cos are typically only 8am - 6pm

No that is just their CMBS originations group which underwrites loans for securitization into CMBS. BAML already has their REGL group which is REIB.
