Does anyone have experience that they can share with Brownfield Tax Credits, preferably on a project they oversaw cradle to grave?
My team is thinking about getting into the space on a deal, and I'd love to hear an overview on the process, pros & cons, and personal anecdotes and experiences from someone who's done this work before. Cheers

What state? Working on financing a NYS Brownfields credit now. Can’t speak much to the underlying remediation work but I do know the monetization process pretty well.
I was curious from the federal level, but if it was from a state level it would be for Florida.

Gotcha. I don’t know that there’s an actual federal credit. Looks like it’s a deduction, which reduces your taxable income. Credits offset tax liability dollar for dollar and as a result are much more valuable. Sorry, I’m not much help here.
